Banking & Finance


  • Addleshaw Goddard had a few new roles in this practice area:–

    • A Senior Knowledge Development Lawyer (Real Estate Finance, 5+ PQE) to support the REF team through knowledge strategy, training design, precedent development, legal innovation and automation initiatives. Strong REF experience, excellent drafting ability, organisational strength and a deep understanding of real estate finance documentation needed. Experience in knowledge management and legal tech is highly desirable.

    • A Real Estate Finance Associate (1+ PQE) to work on high-value cross-border and domestic financings for lenders, funds and developers. Candidates need strong drafting skills, solid REF experience and commercial awareness.

    • a role for an Associate (3+ PQE) for its Social & Affordable Housing team. The firm wants strong property portfolio experience and excellent organisational skills for complex financings.

    • a Managing Associate for Social, Sustainable & Green Finance work, requiring finance expertise, leadership skills and interest in ESG-driven projects.

  • Allen & Overy advertised for a 3–4 PQE Associate for its Project Finance team. The firm seeks candidates with strong technical expertise in project finance or infrastructure, excellent communication skills, commercial acumen and the ability to manage complex cross-border matters.

  • Dechert has a role for a securitisation associates (4–6 PQE) for its London FRE team. The role requires strong technical skills in securitised and structured products, interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach within a global practice.

  • Dentons advertised a 4–8 PQE Associate/Senior Associate for its Corporate Lending and Real Estate Finance practice. Strong experience with LMA documentation, security law and managing finance deals is essential, alongside interest in cross-office collaboration and business development.

  • Herbert Smith Freehills posted a role for a finance lawyer (Associate/Senior Associate) with project finance or acquisition finance expertise. The role requires excellent drafting, negotiation and project management skills and offers significant exposure to energy transition and infrastructure finance.

  • Mayer Brown advertised two new roles:–

  • White & Case advertised for a Banking Associates for its London EMEA practice, requiring outstanding academics, drafting skills and the ability to manage multijurisdictional financings in a fast-paced, global environment.


Corporate

  • Bird & Bird has a junior Corporate Associate role (around 1 PQE) working on M&A, venture capital, private equity and ECM transactions. Candidates must be technically strong, commercially aware and able to work flexibly across sectors such as technology and life sciences.

  • Dentons advertised for a Corporate Associate (2–4 PQE) for cross-border M&A, private equity and ECM work. The role requires strong drafting, project management, commercial awareness and confidence handling major international matters.


Restructuring & Insolvency

  • Dentons posted for a 1–2 PQE Associate for its Restructuring & Insolvency team. Candidates must have core insolvency knowledge, drafting and negotiation skills, understanding of finance documentation, and experience with litigation procedure for high-profile, cross-border matters.


Contentious Roles


  • Gowling WLG is hiring Litigation Lawyers on 6–24-month contracts to support public-sector litigation, inquiries and investigations. Candidates need SC clearance, experience in investigations or document review, and strong analytical abilities.

  • Mayer Brown seeks a Knowledge Counsel for its Litigation group. The role involves developing precedents, delivering training and supporting legal innovation. The firm wants an experienced litigator with excellent drafting, organisation and communication skills.

  • Stephenson Harwood is looking for an Associate for its Commercial, Data & Technology disputes team. The role involves cyber, tech and data-related litigation and investigations. Candidates need strong disputes experience and genuine interest in cyber and data regulation.

  • Stewarts Law is hiring an Associate (NQ–4 PQE) for its Aviation & International Injury teams. The firm seeks candidates with excellent client skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage catastrophic injury and fatal accident claims with sensitivity and professionalism.

Insurance Litigation

  • Clyde & Co is hiring a Senior Associate for its reinsurance practice. The firm wants someone with at least 4 PQE, strong experience in reinsurance and arbitration, excellent technical judgement and a collaborative, client-focused mindset to handle high-value disputes and international matters.


Regulatory

  • Kingsley Napley is hiring a Regulatory Associate/Senior Associate (3+ PQE) for contentious health and safety work. The firm wants someone experienced in large investigations, major incidents and regulatory defence with strong advocacy and analytical skills.


Real Estate, Construction & Planning



Planning

  • TLT Solicitors seeks a Managing Associate/Legal Director for national Infrastructure Planning work. The firm wants a senior lawyer (7+ PQE) with deep experience in NSIPs, renewables and transport planning, strong analytical skills and ability to lead on DCO matters and business development.


Advisory Roles


Competition / Trade/ Sanctions

  • Allen & Overy seeks a Trade & Sanctions Associate (2–5 PQE) to advise on sanctions, export controls, anti-bribery/AML and WTO matters. The firm wants someone technically strong, commercially aware and comfortable operating in a global, high-intensity environment.

  • Herbert Smith Freehills is hiring a mid-level Associate (2–5 PQE) for its Competition, Regulation & Trade team. The role combines transactional and disputes work, requiring strong academics, excellent technical and project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Experience in mergers, regulatory matters or competition disputes is helpful but not essential.

  • Macfarlanes seeks a 3–5 PQE Competition Associate for its London or Brussels office. The work spans merger control, NSIA/FDI, investigations, market studies and compliance. The firm is looking for technically strong candidates with excellent academics, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for high-profile, cross-border matters.


Employment

  • Forsters seeks a Knowledge Development Lawyer with employment experience and ideally exposure to partnership disputes. The firm wants someone with strong technical expertise, clear communication skills and collaborative working style; prior KDL experience is not essential.
