Overview of new London Inhouse roles advertised during October

During the month of October we identified 250 new unique inhouse roles, for the London Area, being advertised directly by firms/organisations on Linkedin. This is in line with the number of roles identified in September, but a 10% increase in roles compared to both August and July.  Of the 250 roles:

• 3% were for GC's/Head of Legal

• 69% were relevant for senior lawyers (5 or more pqe)

• 56% were relevant for Junior/Mid-level lawyers*

  
  

The majority (59%) of the roles were for organisations that could be classified as Commerce & Industry, 29% for Financial Services organisations and 12% for Government/Not for Profit organisations.

There were 112 roles that had been added prior to October but had been reposted by organisations in October.  Of these roles, 65% were with Commerce & Industry, 32% with Financial Services and just 1% were with Government/Not for Profit organisations.
